Membership types

CGA has four member types:

1. Technical — geologists, hydrologists, engineers and other scientific professionals
2. Manufacturers and suppliers — companies providing groundwater equipment and services
3. Contractors — water well drillers and pump specialists
4. Individual — employees and officials of federal, state, county and local government entities.

Membership rates

Items to note:

• Membership is on a calendar year and valid from January 1 to December 31. No automatic renewals.
• Company membership: All employees of company become members.
• Individual membership: Only the individual joining is a member

Membership dues may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses to the extent not allocated to lobbying expenditures. CGA estimates that the nondeductible portion of your dues is 14.61 percent.
